zONA MICHI
Catfetin Cat Café has been exclusively designed to support feline rescue cases. We have a second area, Zona Michi, a feline adoption center that works as a temporary home for them, while we find responsible homes for them to complete the rest of their nine lives.
Zona Michi is a Non-profit Association that supports cat rescues in Cusco. We rehabilitate, spay and neuter them, we also cover all the expenses involved such as veterinary treatments, medicines, food and supplies; all together with the support of our clientele.
We do not yet have a shelter. We work with the support of volunteers, who help us provide foster homes for the cats during their treatment; and veterinarians who offer us lower prices for their recovery. Part of our mission is to integrate the community, use resources to educate about responsible ownership, and spay / neuter cats.
Our Association remians self-sustaining, we do not work or depend on external donations. We cover the expenses of the cats with our entry fee and the sales.
